ReForest Now
We are extremely thankful to partner with ReForest Now.
With each purchase made, By Webber donates $3 towards ReForest Now, to help restore, protect and regenerate Australian rainforests. Most importantly, give back to the land.

ReForest Now
Reforest Now works with partners to restore what was once Australia’s largest expanse of subtropical rainforest. By 1900, only 1% of this unique ecosystem remained due to clearing by early settlers – see image above.
Although fragmented and small today, it is home to bountiful biodiversity with an incredible array of species that grew from the rich volcanic soils of Wollumbin (Mt Warning).
“ReForest Now, will ensure the landholder of the property where trees are planted agrees to not remove the trees in their lifetime!”

What we do :
- Grow vulnerable and endangered species in our Mullumbimby nursery
- Plant trees to grow diverse, complex rainforest – creating and connecting habitat for native and threatened species, improving local hydrology and sequestering carbon to fight climate change
- Maintain attention to genetic diversity and make ecological considerations at all of our planting sites (we have a diverse team with relevant knowledge and skills, including ecologists)
- Achieve high survival rates (avg. 95%) through planting techniques that ensure optimal hydration and nutrient absorption in the early stages of plant growth. Our trees are maintained and protected by agreements made with landholders. And the ecosystem we plant is listed as critically endangered under federal legislation.

Compostable Mailers
“Whilst thoughtfully creating and building By Webber, with sustainability focus at the forefront. I want to ensure that everything from the swing tags, the garments, to the mailers, are sustainable, plastic free and ethically made. Which has lead me to partner with HEROPACK – Compostable mailers”
– Elesha Webber
What Are Compostable Mailers?
Compostable HEROPACK shipping mailers are proudly certified as both Home and Commercially Compostable. HEROPACK mailers hold certifications which meet the Australian standards (AS5810 and AS4736) administered by the Australasian Bioplastics Australia (ABA). HEROPACK supply chain also complies with ISO 14001 standards, ensuring environmentally ethical sourcing and production.

Compostable mailers, fondly known as HEROPACKs (shipping bags) are used to ship Our products to you. Unlike traditional shipping mailers, these are NOT made from plastic. HEROPACK mailers are made from mostly plant-based materials such as PLA and a certified compostable material called PBAT (some seriously fancy ways of saying corn starch and bonding agents).
When you receive the mailer, cut along the line on the flap and re-use it with the second adhesive (glue) strip. HEROPACK mailers are one of the only ones in the world that have a reusable strip!
Once the mailer has been used up, the last person to receive it can cut it up and put it in their home-compost bin. (note, these can’t be placed in the recycling bin).
Don’t have a compost bin? Visit Share Waste and find someone who has a compost bin near you. Some councils also provide a green organics waste/compost bin.
Once composted properly, the HEROPACKs will start to break down and turn into amazing fertiliser for the garden. This takes about 90-120 days (3-4 months).
